Amba is a fast-casual East Mediterranean-inspired restaurant in the heart of East Cambridge that first opened its doors in 2024 as part of the latest additions to Cambridge Street Hospitality Group’s portfolio alongside First Street Market, and received the Best of Boston 2025 distinction.

Amba offers a warm refuge for locals, professionals, and passers-by alike, with intentional hospitality, a vibrant, Levantine menu, and an energetic beverage program, all pulling from Chef / Owner Will Gilson’s experience and dedication towards the cuisines of the region. Options to indulge include a mélange of mezze, pitas, bowls, and our signature rotisserie chicken, brined, rubbed with shawarma spices, and roasted in house.

Our pastry program, led by Chef Yenifer Osorio-Becker, focuses on cravable treats inspired by spices and flavors of the region, and our beverage program spotlights La Colombe Coffees, MEM teas, and a range of signature drinks, like our Spiced Pomegranate Lemonade and Honey Blossom Latté.
